Reverend David C. Gross, 34, is the son of Leonard and Roberta Gross of Grand Rapids. He has two siblings, Doug (Tina) Gross and Cathy (Eric)
Buehler. St. Stephen Parish, East Grand Rapids, is his home parish. He attended the University of Michigan where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in
Education and went on to Grand Valley State University, graduating with his master’s in education. In 2005, Rev. Gross entered Mundelein Seminary of the
University of St. Mary of the Lake in Mundelein, Illinois In 2008, he completed an internship at the parishes of St. Jean Baptiste and St. Mary in Muskegon under the
mentorship of Father Thomas Page. Last fall, Rev. Gross entered his final year of studies at Mundelein and received his master’s of divinity degree in May 2010.
Father Gross will be joining the parishes of St Mary and St Paul in Big Rapids Michigan as the Parochial Vicar or Assistant Pastor.
